Customer Service Representative / Production
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative / Production Coordinator to join our production team. We are a construction business specializing in home remodeling, decks, room additions, windows, and skylights. This position is 80% inside office work on a computer and 20% onsite visiting projects and also comes with room for advancement.
Job Summary
Performs a variety of administrative tasks to support the Production Department of the company. Primary telephone contact for all customer interactions including answering calls, scheduling and confirming production installations, and following up with customers on a variety of issues. Mails customer information. Keeps customer records current and updated. Supports the management and mission of the company.
Essential Job Functions
- Performs Production Department Customer Service duties
- -Coordinates and ensures all paperwork and correspondence regarding all sold job proposals is accurate, timely, and completed according to procedure
- -Answer calls related to processing of job proposals through the Production Department
- -Schedules jobs with customers
- -Breaks down job folders
- -Prepares and mails out pre-mailers in a timely manner to ensure customers receive needed information prior to installation
- -Recommends new pre-mailer items that might be helpful to the customer
- -Calls customer seven (7) days before work is to be started / completed
- -Processes "Done and Paid" and job costing details when job is complete
- -Calls customer after work completion to check on quality and satisfaction
- -Coordinates utility locates and special needs on a weekly basis
- -Makes scheduling changes as needed
- -Processes job cancellations
- -Keeps customers' files up-to-date
- Regular punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma, some college preferred;
- One (1) year experience in customer service, call center, or related position; or,
- A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in the business field
Physical Requirements
- Detect/ recognize information in written materials and on computer screen
- Communicate accurately on the telephone and in person with others
- Accurately operate a computer and calculator
- Occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds
