Entry - Mid-Level Carpenters

We are seeking motivated and reliable Entry - Mid-Level Carpenters to join our Fitch Team. We are a 35+ year old remodeling company serving the Western New York area. If you like to build Additions, remodel Kitchens and install Windows, Doors and Sunrooms then you have found your Home! We are busy year-round. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a Team environment.

Responsibilities: 

• - Great carpentry skills that include roofing, siding, flashing, kitchen & bath cabinetry, interior trim work, drywall finishing
• - Electrical, Plumbing & Heating abilities are a plus
• - Follow instructions from supervisors and be able to read blueprints
• - Maintain safety standards on the job site by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. OSHA 10-hour safety a plus, Work Lead Safe training a plus
• - Hand tools and some power tools required
• - A valid driver's license and dependable vehicle are required. Company vehicles are available for further distance projects
• - Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of construction practices

Skills:

• Mid to Excellent knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials is required
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (50 pounds +)
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers and other project trades
• attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise on-site
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
